Premier League 2019/20 fixtures release date

The 380 matches for the Premier League 2019/20 season will be announced on Thursday, June 13 at 9am BST.  

The new season will introduce the three newly promoted Premier League teams Norwich City, Sheffield United and Aston Villa. 

When does EPL new season begin?

The 2019/20 season for EPL starts on Saturday, August 10 which rules out Friday night fixture like last year between Manchester United and Leicester City.

However, TV picks are not confirmed until closer to August which could alter a few fixtures.

How can you watch Premier League for 2019/20? 

Amazon will join Sky Sports and BT Sport in broadcasting Premier League games in the UK after US tech giants purchased broadcasting rights package until 2022.

How many matches are they broadcasting? 

Sky Sports will broadcast 128 Premier League matches which is an increase of 2 matches from the previous season.

Sky Sports broadcasting breakdown: 

  • 32 matches at 5.30pm on a Saturday
  • 8 matches at 7.45pm on a Saturday
  • 32 matches at 2pm on a Sunday
  • 32 matches at 4.30pm on a Sunday
  • 24 matches at 8pm on a Monday OR 7.30pm/8pm on a Friday

Fixtures for Champions League, League One and League Two are released week later after Premier League 2019/20 fixture announcement on Thursday, June 20.
